Position Summary Reporting directly to an assigned Lead Project Controls Specialist in an office, this is a temporary position providing on the job training. Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in their chosen field. Performs routine aspects of assigned projects under close supervision, following established procedures Coordinate with Project Control professionals to make modifications and corrections to project specific documents Prepare and process client requested data or documents that are compliant with contract terms and client specific needs May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks Collects and prepares data for evaluation Examine Project documents for completeness and accuracy Qualifications Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required Attention to detail and the ability to exercise good professional judgment is required Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management regarding project activity is required At Jacobs, we help prepare people for new opportunities and challenges. Jeffrey Jacobs is President of Jacobs Entertainment Inc, a film buying and marketing firm. He has 35 years of experience in the exhibition, marketing and distribution of American independent and international cinema in the U.S. He is perhaps best known as the founding film buyer for the Angelika Film Center in New York City which under his supervision (from opening day in 1989 until 1997) became the highest grossing art cinema in the country. He was the Managing Director and Film Buyer of the Paris Theatre from 1998 to 2009. At present, he programs over 50 movie theatre screens across the country.
