Estimator, Multifamily Cabinetry

We are looking for a full-time Multi-Family Estimator to join our growing company.
The purpose of this position is to prepare and estimate casework bids for Multi-family projects. The position will also provide support and direction to account managers and customers.
Major tasks, responsibilities and key accountabilities:
Manage / assist select Account Managers bidding and ordering operations to include estimation assistance and Salesforce.com reporting
Read blueprints and prepare reports
Work with all sales support personnel (including contract employees) in accurate estimating, and designing projects
Use SFDC to make sure bids are logged and updated
Use provided lead source help to generate qualified leads within the sales team
Build effective business relationships with internal customer team
Ensure compliance to operational standards, company policies, and safety standards across the channel
Monitor and ensure compliance with company financial policies concerning profitability and bidding policies
Ensure feedback to NPD team regarding products needed
Prepare and review kitchen cabinet layouts and designs for function, anesthetics, and cost
Place orders, read blueprints, and prepare reports.
Will interface with a variety of groups to include multi-family, senior living, military, hospitality, assisted living, and architectural
Minimum Role Qualifications:
Kitchen & bath design and estimating.
Expert level blue print reading.
Intermediate level Excel and Adobe Standard.
Attention to detail is a must.
HS diploma or GED a must. Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in design or sales.
Multi-family design, sales experience.
Must have a background including experience in cabinetry or building materials industry is preferred.
Expert experience and knowledge of cabinetry sales, field measuring, and design.
Experience in securing opportunities to quote on customer requirements, following-up on quotations submitted to customers
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, maintains a sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, and is well organized.
Project management skills are required.
Strong closer who is customer focused.
Ability to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions.
Intermediate computer skills in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Must have experience in cabinet layouts and 20/20 drawing programs.
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance, on occasion.
Ability to communicate effectively with all types of personalities, both written and oral.
Ability to manage their time

Some travel with overnight stays required
Must be able to work remotely
This position is mainly SEDENTARY - Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
