The Construction Estimator will contribute to the team effort in developing and evaluating bids to lead and execute the entire bid process for both negotiated and hard bid projects. Client Details My client is a leading General Contractor that operates nationally, but has its roots in the Pacific Northwest. They service a variety of markets, including Retail, Big-Box Wholesale, Special Projects, Office Space, Distribution, and Medical. Description Actively participate in developing a bid strategy for each new proposal. Create bid lists and make subcontractor solicitations. Develop scopes of work when required. Prepare detailed project estimates. Clear and professional communication with subcontractors, owners & design team. Compare and analyze bid results. Review and qualify subcontractor proposals on bid day. Prepare a complete bid package meeting each client's requirements. Profile Minimum of 3 years experience performing reconstruction services and estimating for a variety of negotiated and competitive bid projects. Commercial construction experience. Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering would be ideal. Strong preconstruction skills, including estimating, communication, quantity survey, value engineering and constructability reviews.
