This role also performs repairs, corrections, replacements, inspections, documents, and files accordingly; assists in reporting quality issues, makes recommendations for equipment and participates as an active and constructive member of the team.You do not need any prior experience in the scrap metal industry; however this position is not for everyone! It is only for the individuals who work hard and set personal goals. It is for the individuals who understand the majority of our work occurs outdoors and for the individuals who are able to produce without constant
diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment; primarily loaders, balers, shears, grapple, skid steers, forklifts; others as assignedInstall, repair, and maintain production equipment, including mechanical and electrical components used in all onsite equipmentOperate all heavy equipment onsite, specifically loaders, excavators, forklifts, and skid steersAdhere to preventative maintenance programKeep accurate records of repairs and maintenance completedAdhere to operating and health and safety protocolsOther duties as assignedWORK

to work day shift Monday through Friday, with occasional day shift on Saturday'sPREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:Ability to repair, maintenance, and operate cable and friction cranesStrong knowledge of hydraulics7 to 10 years of continuous working experience in industrial electrical and industrial mechanical equipment required; scrap yard environment experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to repair, maintenance, and operate Toyota, CAT, Volvo, Kubota, Komatsu, Bobcat, Hyundai, Sierra, and Harris brand equipmentAbility to work in all weather elements such as, rain, snow, cold, and heatMust have good written communication skills-All positions require pre-employment background verification, medical review and pre-employment drug screen.
