We are now looking for a Network Services Strategic Sourcing Manager to strengthen Ericsson's competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and contributing to the creation of value for the Customer.
The SSM is accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services: 1) to be delivered to Customers as part of or as an Ericsson product or service and 2) for internal use within Ericsson.
The SSM and/or the Supplier Relationship Manager are responsible for all commercial relationship with suppliers.
*You will lead pre-sales and contracting activities for network services, including validation of scope and cost estimates. *You will lead, prepare & execute the RFx process *You will evaluate supplier capabilities, crew levels, and copetences in order to staff projects, leading to supplier selection *You will conduct supplier negotiation, and must be able to discuss network services project scope in depth and negotiate them face to face with contractors. *You will ensure supplier agreement implementation *You will contribute to the long term business
*Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience *Min 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience and / or extensive experience negotiation telecom construction projects with subcontractors. *Domain experience: Network services, civil construction, EF&I, tower work, small cells or inbuilding. *Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge *Change & Improvement Management Skills *Commercial Acumen & Skills *Financial Acumen & Skills *Local Laws & Regulations Knowledge
*Must be experienced with large telecom network rollouts. *Construction management experience and / or construction estimating techniques and costs
