Job Description :
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Proposal Analyst for a position in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities include the following:
-Estimates labor and material cost for sustainment of the F-35 based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers.
-Uses understanding of programmatic history to utilize various program databases and/or other cost data sources to extract current historical data that is applicable to forecasting costs.
-Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and other suppliers/vendors and computes cost estimates based on functional inputs.
-Identifies actionable recommendations for enhancing financial performance and affordability.
-Document and track historical cost data for use in developing estimates and present findings in clear and concise way to management.
-Offers support throughout the life of proposal including responding to requests for information and offering inputs to provide clarity during fact finding and negotiations.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is needed
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management or related discipline
Financial analysis and proposal preparation experience utilizing quantitative and analytical tools
Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or sustainment estimating
IWTA management, government audit support, financial analytics, and presentation experience.
Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
Exposure to Lockheed Martin, Aeronautics, and F-35 data marking requirements.
Experience in any of the following: Cost Estimating, Sustainment Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or other related field.
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) 401, 402, and 405.
