The Supervisor of Application Engineering is a working supervisor that will direct two very technical employees the plan is to double the number of direct reports. This person will be involved in the hiring, training and reviewing of staff. This person will utilize AutoCAD and Inventor; design processes; design equipment; and quote the equipment that the company builds. A small amount of short term travel and working with sales to determine the needs of customers is part of the responsibilities.
Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering or related engineering. A minimum of two years of estimating experience with electrical, controls (PLC's, HMI's, etc...), heat transfer, heat processing, or related. This person would need to have both applications engineering experience and supervisory experience.
