Description The duties of a constructionProject Controls Specialist are set out below, but also include any otherreasonable activity as directed from time to time.\u00a0 \u2022 Develop,monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets, estimates tocomplete, commitments, expenditures, project progress and productivity, workplans and schedules, projects cost at completion, WBS cost coding,subcontracts, and change management. \u2022 Support Project Manager with Operational Project Reviews (OPRs). \u2022Support Project Managerwith quarterly forecast on projects. \u2022 Prepare,coordinate, and deliver project controls presentations to internal managementand to client, as required. \u2022 Maintainthe Primavera schedule for construction management, procurement, andsubcontractor activities, as well as incorporating other activities associatedwith procurement, and engineering support.\u00a0 \u2022 Input or update activity data, logic,resource, progress, expenditure information and review of activity durations and logic sequences \u2022 Reviewof expenditure details, identifying incorrect charges, and commencement of thecharge correction process \u2022 Review, process and track subcontractor invoices throughProlog \u2022 Perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and recommendusage of contingency.\u00a0 \u2022 Coordinateactivities and services with corporate support groups including humanresources, accounting, legal, contracts management, procurement and safety \u2022 Assure change management systems and processes are implementedand followed.\u00a0 \u2022 Identifypotential project problems early, report issues and problems to operationsleadership, and work with project teams to address and implement recoveryplans.\u00a0 \u2022 Preparationof spreadsheets and a wide variety of routine cost analyses, cash flow, andother cost related evaluations. \u2022 Set-up,monitor & report earned value progress measurement systems for projects,including analysis based on input from project leads\u00a0 \u2022 Printingand distribution of technical and administrative reports, assembly of monthlyreport packages\u00a0and other project controls duties as assigned \u2022Goodverbal and written communications skills and a desire to work withdetails.\u00a0 Qualifications BS or BA in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management. At least 10 years\u2019 experience in a project controls or related function is required Previous experience working on Industrial construction, buildings and infrastructure type of projects is required \u00b7Broad knowledge ofProject Control Systems and processes including leading schedule processingsoftware, databases and spreadsheet applications (ie: Primavera, Prolog, Excel)required. Comfortable working with all levels and functions in a constructive fashion to achieve responsibilities and goals required Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk across long distances overpotential rough terrain. The ability to climb stairs and ladders toinspect the work is also required. Exposure to weather elements while inthe field. Project Information: The work location for this position is approximately 55 miles WNW of Idaho Falls, Idaho Current work hours 4-9\u2019s and a 4 on Friday. Future work hours at the remote site will be 5-10\u2019s with select overtime. Transportation to and from the remote work site will be provided by the project. He has 35 years of experience in the exhibition, marketing and distribution of American independent and international cinema in the U.S. He is perhaps best known as the founding film buyer for the Angelika Film Center in New York City which under his supervision (from opening day in 1989 until 1997) became the highest grossing art cinema in the country. He was the Managing Director and Film Buyer of the Paris Theatre from 1998 to 2009. At present, he programs over 50 movie theatre screens across the country.
